On the 17th and 18th of February, JuniFEUP had the pleasure of organizing the fourth edition of the Junior Entrepreneurs National Congress, hosted at the prestigious Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

With the record participation of 450 young entrepreneurs from all over the country, this event was marked as the largest ever held within the scope of the Portuguese Junior Movement.

During the first day of the congress, participants had access to a series of high-level trainings and lectures, providing a fundamental platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among young Portuguese entrepreneurs about risks and opportunities of artificial intelligence, financial literacy, operational efficiency and an inspiring talk about the entrepreneurial journey of two alumni of the Portuguese Junior Movement, who founded their startup at the age of 23.

In addition, two round tables were held, covering the topics of consultancy and innovation, with the participation of founders of nationally and internationally renowned companies, further enriching the event with their perspectives and success stories.

The closing of the congress on the second day was marked by an inspiring speech by Hamed, a success story of the Refugee Support Platform (PAR), which brought deep reflections on social entrepreneurship. The occasion was also marked by the announcement of NOWACE as the most recent Junior Enterprise integrated into the Portuguese Junior Movement, and by the revelation of the finalists of the 2024 jeniAL awards, where JuniFEUP stands out as a finalist in three categories.

The IV National Congress of Young Entrepreneurs not only strengthened ties within the Junior Entrepreneur community, but also provided a unique opportunity for learning and growth for all participants. This event reflects JuniFEUP's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, cultivating the next generation of business leaders in Portugal and achieving excellence in all its initiatives.
