On the 26th and 27th of October, JuniFEUP had the pleasure of participating in the sixth edition of JENC (Junior Entrepreneurs National Congress), organized by Católica Consulting Linked at the University City of Lisbon.

The opening of the event, which was attended by more than 350 junior entrepreneurs, was marked by the intervention of Carlos Moedas, who presented several inspirational notes for young entrepreneurship. Centered on the motto “Global Horizons”, the event’s theme refers to the development of international careers, which was addressed through training and roundtables. Different dimensions were thus explored, both of a technical and inspirational nature.

Also noteworthy are the interventions by Rui Pereira, co-founder of Outsystems and Pedro Ferreira, founding Partner of the multinational consultancy Timestamp, who explore the challenges and obstacles in building and expanding a company beyond national borders. The final moments of the event were also marked by the testimonies of Alumni members of the Portuguese Junior Movement, who pointed out guidelines for the future of a junior entrepreneur.

Participation in the 6th National Congress of Junior Entrepreneurs proved to be a valuable and rewarding experience for the structure of JuniFEUP, solidifying the commitment to the growth of the Portuguese Junior Movement.
